Get a glimpse of real Thai life on our cultural adventure tour. Perfect for anyone short on time, this private taster tour combines lots of cultural activities with small village life and the hospitality of friendly Thai people.
Your holiday begins as you are whisked through the Thai countryside to stay in the Central Plains region with a small village chief, known as the headman. Explore the village which is set on a canal and watch a Thai dancing display set up in your honour as a guest of the headman. Pay respect to the monks at the local temple by giving Alms, visit the colourful nearby market and have a whole day to visit the ruins in the ancient city of Ayutthaya.
From there, you'll head east to eco-sound province of Nakorn Ratchasima, an area of national parks and organic crop farms. Spend a day visiting these farms and tasting their produce as well as taking in the vibrant blooms at a flower garden and going to a nearby wildlife viewing point. You'll have a tour to see how the best Thai silk is produced and a chance to see both Khmer and Buddhist temples that will give you a glimpse of Thailand's past. Enjoy the highlight of a full-day trekking in the lush jungle of Thailand's oldest national park, Khao Yai National park. A UNESCO world heritage site, scout out the wildlife trails and see what you can spot. Look out for herds of gaur as well as monkeys and elephants. Get a evening Thai cooking lesson from your food-passionate hosts who love to cook with family recipes with fresh local produce.
