Easter Adventure
Songkran, Thai New Year

Give your children an Easter holiday to remember during a visit to Thailand during the new year festival of Songkran. No risk of missing school as we've lovingly designed this holiday to fit perfectly into the two-week Easter break.

As well as our usual family fun adventures which include bathing elephants and trekking around waterfalls, this holiday includes having friendly water fights with the locals! A quick stop in Bangkok to see the major sites and then it's off to the north.

You'll have a comfortable two-storey guesthouse to yourself so you can come and go as you like, with the security of having a base. Best of all, your guesthouse is in the garden of clay artist Mae's house. We've designed this itinerary so you have the perfect balance between outings on your own as a family and activities with Mae and her family who will give you the inside track to Songkran and the real Thailand the guidebooks could never show you. Your kids can take part in Songkran activities including games, dances and giving offerings at the local temple. There's certainly no room for boredom on this fun-packed adventure!

  • The whole family can take part in water fights with the local kids during the Songkran festivities
  • Get 'hands on' with elephants during a day at a conservation centre where your family will all help feed elephants and wash them in the river.
  • Have pottery lessons with your clay artist host and take your sculptures home as souvenirs.
  • Swim in a beautiful waterfall set in lush forests.
  • See what Songkran is like in an average home, learn about the customs and take part in the special activities.
